Principle : According to ASTM, GB/T1933, JIS, ISO and adopting the buoyancy method of Archimedean principle, the boiling water method, wax-sealing method and vacuum saturation method can be chosen to use, it can show the measuring result accurately and fast.

Functions: 

- Boiling method, vacuum saturation method can be applied for testing the basic density of wood, GP series can show bulk density, wet density , apparent density , apparent porosity, water absorption, volume of pores and closed pores, total porosity; MH series can show the bulk density, apparent density, apparent porosity, water absorption.

- For testing air-dried density of wood, the bulk density can be showed directly by applying wax-sealing method.

- For non-absorbent wood products, GP series can show the density and volume of the products; MH series can show apparent density.

- By purchasing professional pycnometer. it can show wood cell bulk density.

- The machines have the function of water temperature and solution compensation setting , and wax density setting when using wax-sealing method.

- The machines can be connected to the PC or printer by RS-232.

- By adoption the design of big tank, it can decrease the inaccuracy caused by supporting wire's buoyancy.

- Standard size of water tank ; 150 x 100 x 90mm.

- The water tank length of GP-1200WN can be customized according to the customers' demand.
